It’s almost spring! What better time of year is there to start thinking about future possibilities? This March you can catch us at major events throughout Europe and discover how Shotl is helping cities to revitalize public transit services by providing a more user-friendly and all-together more efficient alternative to traditional modes.
The IT-Trans International Conference in Karlsruhe, Germany focusses on how progressive digital technologies are changing and redefining the way we live and move. Since the first conference back in 2008, IT-Trans has provided planners and decision-makers alike with a common platform aimed at championing knowledge growth within the digitalized public-transport sector.
This year’s keynote speaker will be Christoph Bornschein, whose consultation company TLGG has counseled global companies such as Ford, ING, and Lufthansa on the strategic use of digital technologies. Visit our stand in the startup area (Hall 2 - 2 J2.11) where we will be available to discuss what Shotl can do for you. Also, our very own Silvia Coronado will be on stage to present the findings from our successful deployments at Sant Cugat/Barcelona.
This specially arranged afternoon workshop in Brussels will feature 3 keynote speakers, one of whom is Shotl’s Founding Partner Gerard Martret. The workshop will look at how we can “drive forward demand responsive transit”.
This is an invitation-only event but if you would like to attend you can register your interest right here.
The Go Mobility Conference takes place in the Basque city of Irún. Bringing together key players from both the private and public sectors, the event places a special emphasis on mobility developments within southern Europe. Naturally, we are delighted to be joining in with the conversation and you can find us at our stand in the startup area.
Also, we will be doing a presentation on a project which is currently deployed a little closer to home in the town of Vallirana, Catalunya. The presentation will explain how the use of Shotl technology has increased ridership throughout the local service.
As ever, we will be happy to discuss what Shotl can do for you at any of the above events.

Let’s face it, we’re all hoping 2021 will be an improvement on 2020! And while we’re going to be living with the virus and its effects for some time, at Shotl we see good things ahead for mobility.
