Enhancing accessibility in Shotl: a commitment to inclusivity

At Shotl, we believe technology should be accessible to everyone. Our mission is to create an inclusive experience that empowers all users, regardless of their abilities. We're excited to share the steps we've taken to ensure Shotl is accessible to all.

Shotl is now fully compatible with VoiceOver (iOS) and TalkBack (Android), providing a seamless experience for visually impaired users. All interactive elements are labelled, so users can effortlessly navigate the app and use all its features. Additionally, users can adjust text size to meet their specific needs, enhancing readability and comfort. This feature is particularly beneficial for users with dyslexia or visual impairments, allowing them to customize the app to their preferences.

We’ve optimized Shotl’s layout and content to work harmoniously with screen readers, ensuring clearer and more concise information delivery. This optimization includes ensuring that all text, images, and interactive elements are properly labelled and easy to navigate.

All video content in Shotl includes closed captions, and audio content comes with transcripts, making it accessible to users with hearing impairments. This ensures that all users can access the information, regardless of their hearing ability. This feature ensures that everyone can use the app in a way that suits their needs.

We understand that accessibility is an ongoing journey. We actively seek feedback to identify and address accessibility issues. Your insights are very valuable in helping us improve. By integrating user feedback, we ensure that the app evolves to meet the needs of all users.

Our team conducts regular audits using both automated tools and manual testing to ensure compliance with the latest accessibility standards. These audits help us identify potential issues and address them promptly. Additionally, we collaborate with accessibility experts and organizations to stay updated on best practices and emerging technologies. This collaboration ensures that Shotl remains at the forefront of accessibility innovation.

Your feedback is crucial in making Shotl better for everyone. If you encounter any accessibility issues or have suggestions, please reach out to our team at hello@shotl.com. Together, we can create a more inclusive digital world.

Thank you for being a part of our community and helping us make Shotl accessible to all.
