CEO handshake at SCE

Smart City Expo World Congress has been part of Shotl's story since our early days. Barcelona is our hometown, and many of the services we support today started with people we first met at the show. That gives us a very personal reason to come back.

This November, we want one of those conversations to be with you.

Perhaps you're trying to connect a neighbourhood to a railway station, but demand doesn't support a bus every half hour. Or you're responsible for a service that residents depend on, and you've been asked to extend its coverage with the vehicles you already have. Before recommending a change, you need to understand what it would mean for riders, drivers and the budget.

Seeing new technology helps. So does hearing how another city or operator tackled a problem that sounds familiar. What did they try? What surprised them once the buses started running? Those exchanges are a good reason to make time for an event, especially when you have a decision to take back to your own team.

Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona

3–5 November 2026 · Fira Barcelona Gran Via · Catalonia pavilion

You’ll find us in the Catalonia pavilion, where we’re making time for one-to-one conversations. Bring a service you're rethinking, a question you haven't resolved, or simply an interest in what other places are doing.

If you're considering demand-responsive transport, we'll look at where it fits alongside your existing network and show you how Shotl works. Tell us where residents struggle to travel and what your team needs to make a service work. That gives us somewhere useful to begin.

IBE Intermobility Future Ways in Rimini

24–26 November 2026 · Rimini Expo Centre · Joint stand with REDAS Engineering

Later in the month, we're sharing a stand with REDAS at IBE Intermobility Future Ways. There you'll see URMODE, REDAS's tool for using data to support service design, alongside the Operations Dashboard, where Shotl clients configure and run their demand-responsive services.

That brings two connected questions into the same conversation: what should the service look like, and how will it work each day? If you're moving from a transport study towards a service you need to launch, we'll walk through the planning and operational questions with you.

Meet the people we work with in Italy

At our Rimini stand, you can meet Thomas Valentini from REDAS Engineering, our partner in Italy since 2019. REDAS is an established mobility consultancy with close connections to Italian authorities and operators. Their team works closely with ours, bringing local transport expertise and relationships to the projects we develop together.

If you advise cities or transport operators, you may already be helping clients explore on-demand transport. Adding Shotl to what you offer gives you a way to help them move from a study to an operating service.

That's a useful conversation to have with Thomas. Ask how we work together, what support his team receives and how the partnership creates business opportunities alongside their consulting work. We're building relationships with mobility specialists in other countries too. If that's your work, let's talk about partnering with Shotl.

Let us make time to meet

Contact us and tell us which event you're attending and what you'd like to discuss. We'll arrange a time to sit down together.

You don't need to arrive with a finished project. A question from your own service is a good place to start.
